Great inspiration to celebrate the victory with our own Hockey legend; Espen Shampo Knudsen!

Some extra days off school to play hockey in Färjestad, Sweden. My parents picked me up at School this Friday and we had to drive directly to Löfsberg Arena in Karlstad. Here we had a package with dinner and tickets to the SHL Game between Färjestad and Linkjöping. The pregame show was pretty cool, and we have a lot to learn from this in Norway....

Our team participated with 15 players in Nordic Youth Trophy in Sweden January 6-8. We were located in the small town Åmål (population 9000), and played against Manglerud-Star, Färjestad Vit, Hammarö HC, Kristinehamn HT og Åmål in a group C Friday and Saturday.

It has been a busy off-ice season, with a lot of other activities besides post-season training on ice with Stenungsund in May, and two other camps in Sweden. Since my family and I have spent a lot of time building our "new" cottage, a lot of activities has been up in the Vågå region. I let the photos tell the story....

Following the terrible year of 2021 due to Covid we had a pretty good season in 2022 with Kråkene Moss. As usual we met Ski, Stjernen, Sparta and Comet and this year also Manglerud Star in Oslo in the series. We won some and lost some, but we were six players from the former 2011 team that had to play...

We were so lucky to be welcomed by Stenungsund Stingers to join them for a week-end with five sessions on ice. Good training and very nice people on and off-ice. Friday afternoon started with an off-ice session and the 80 min on ice.

Since we didn't have ice in our own rink before late Sep, we were training in Halden Ishall in the week-ends in Aug and Sep. Again - I had to buy new skates since I have gone from size 36,5 to 38,5 in only 3/4 year! We just crossed the border to Sweden and almost were to late for practice...

Looking back to the periode from Aug to now end November; it has been a good periode for training. We still try to train with a lot of motivating activities, and we have succeeded to be "out" almost every day when we not have been on ice.
