Sense of Hockey

Already in the dressing room, and even stronger walking through the corridors towards the huge rink in Löfbergs Arena you get that special feeling of being in the hearth of hockey.

This clinic was number two of a series of three, and the last one that were scheduled to April is postponed from unknown reasons. It was said that it would be run after the summer season and then I for sure will be back.

We had three ice sessions a day, each one hour. Besides this we also had two off-ice sessions a day som it was quite demanding.

However, being on ice with Niclas Glader was very inspiring, and he was very good to give direct personal feed-back on every drill.

I also was surprised that one of the coaches on ice was speaking Norwegian, before dad asked me if I knew who this coach was. Then I realized that he was former NHL, Ole-Kristian Tollefsen who I had met before.

My new TRUE stick

Dad surprised me when we were visiting Hockey Town in Karlstad, and bought me the stick I for so long have had on my wish-list.

It is a TRUE, HZRDUS Marner edition, and I just HAD to take it with me to bed which my parents thought was a kind of fun.

A good chat, a pizza and home

Before we left I got the chance to have a good chat with Ole- Kristian Tollefsen. 

Ole-Kristian has played in NHL and SHL in many years, and played for Columbus Blue Jackets, Philadelphia Flyers and MODO and Färjestad in Sweden.

He and his family has moved to Sweden and he is working within the Färjestad Organization as a coach and for the hockey gymnasium.

It`s a huge motivation to speak to guys with that experience. 

Before we left we visited the local Pizza and found our good friend and Magnus mentor; Henrik Rehnberg´s jersey from his time in Färjestad.
