West Coast Hockey Camp 2021
My friend and team mate Oliver and I, are currently participating in WCHC in Stenungsund in Sweden. The camp will last from July 5 to 9. We are really excited, both to be back and play hockey in Sweden, and to have a good time while we are traveling.
Travels and accomodations
The trip took around 2 hrs, and we are very good to kill time while traveling. We bring our iPads with movies and games, and of course our headsets.
Oliver and I have our own bedroom, and my parents one for them. It's a nice apartment, but reminds me in a way of a bunker since it is located all under ground with concrete walls.
A day at the camp!
Our group starts on ice every morning at 0730. That's no problem, and we leave our apartment around 0700 and then we have plenty of time to put on all our hockey gear. We really like the ice-passes here, and Henrik Rehnberg starts us up in the morning with a lot of skating drills, passing, and other combinations. In the last session we play 3 vs 3 on a small surface.
Leasure
It has been a very hot summer, and the temperatures in the sea and in the lakes are high. We found a lake only 10 min drive away with a beautiful sandy beach. The place was Bastevik in the lake Stora Hällungen. Magnus at the camp also recommended a beautiful place out in the sea called Bleket where we could "fly". (picture above)
