SPORTS BLOGGER

Hello friends..
I am Magnus, and I am a dedicated hockey player!

My favorite sport is by far hockey! I am very active, and compete also in MTB in summer time, and enjoy other sports as track&field, orienteering, tennis, basketball, football and skiing. In this blog I will invite you to follow my days, either I am training, competing or something completely different.

Above; Oliver from my previous team, Kråkene , me and master chef Arne Brimi who teaches me a lot about fishing, and cooking!

Why a BLOG

I started this blog first of all to experience how exciting it is to communicate through this media. I also want to stay in touch with my Slovakian coaches Blaho and Tomas (picture below), my friends back home and elsewhere, my family and others that I meet on my travels. Through an active participation in camps abroad, I also enjoy meeting players from other countries and keep contact with them. As you probably will understand is that dad helps me here so the spelling won`t be too bad :-)

Me and my team

My team is Vålerenga Hockey. Vålerenga is based in Oslo, and was founded in 1913. The club entered the hockey arena around 1940, and their first apperarance on the national arena was in 1947. Our home arena is Jordal Amfi in Oslo.

Since then, the club has been the most-winning club in Norway with 26 Norwegian Championships og has 30. times won the series.  https://www.vif-hockey.no/

In my team we are currently 18 players, included a few players from 2012.

My favourite team

My favourite team is Toronto Maple Leafs. My dad lived in Toronto in the 98-99 season and was both on the last game in Maple Leaf Garden and in the first in Air Canada Centre (now Scotiabank Arena).

My favorite player on the Leafs is Mitch Marner.

I had the pleasure of participating both in the 2019 Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey School and now in 2023. This was the last year but definately not the last training in Canada and USA.
